What we offer

The full list, no fine print.

Below is every routine service we provide in-clinic. If you don't see what you need, send us a portal message — we'll either handle it ourselves or refer you to a specialist we trust.

  • 01

    Annual physical exam

A full head-to-toe physical with screening labs, vitals trended against prior years, and a 45-minute conversation about what's working and what isn't. Most insurance plans cover this at $0.

  • 02

    Sick visits & urgent care

Same-day appointments for acute issues — sore throat, UTI, rash, injury, fever. Call before 11am and you'll be seen that day, in-person or via telehealth.

  • 03

    Vaccinations & immunizations

The full CDC schedule for kids and adults: flu, COVID, Tdap, MMR, HPV, shingles, pneumococcal, travel vaccines, and titer testing. We carry inventory year-round.

  • 04

    Chronic disease management

Diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, asthma, thyroid disease, and more. Quarterly check-ins, medication titration, and lifestyle support that goes beyond a five-minute pep talk.

  • 05

    Lab work & blood draws

In-house phlebotomy with same-day or next-day results for most common panels. CBC, CMP, lipid panel, HbA1c, thyroid panel, vitamin D, iron studies, STI screening — all on site.

  • 06

    Preventive screenings

Pap smears, mammogram referrals, colonoscopy referrals, skin checks, prostate screening, bone density. We track every recommended screening on the AAFP schedule and remind you when you're due.

  • 07

    Women's health & gynecology

Contraception counseling and IUD placement, perimenopausal symptom management, hormone replacement consults, and routine OB-GYN care. Fertility referrals when needed.

  • 08

    Pediatric well-child visits

Every recommended well-child visit from newborn through age 18, on the AAP schedule. Developmental milestones, vision and hearing screens, sports physicals, and adolescent mental health.

  • 09

    Telehealth visits

Video and phone visits for follow-ups, medication refills, lab review, and acute issues that don't need a physical exam. Available same-day during business hours.

  • 10

    Minor in-office procedures

Skin biopsies, mole removals, joint injections, ear lavage, suture placement and removal, IUD insertion, and abscess drainage. Done in-clinic, no surgery center referral needed.

  • 11

    Mental health screening

Depression and anxiety screening at every annual visit, brief medication management for stable patients, and warm hand-offs to in-network therapists when you need more.

  • 12

    Travel & pre-op clearance

Travel medicine consults, pre-travel vaccinations, and pre-operative medical clearance for elective surgery. Forms and letters handled in-house.

Why it's different here

Three principles behind every service we offer.

  • Time with you

New-patient visits run 60 minutes. Follow-ups are 30. Long enough to figure out what's actually going on instead of guessing.

  • Evidence-based

We follow current guidelines from the USPSTF, AAFP, AAP, and ACOG — and we tell you when the evidence is uncertain rather than pretending it's settled.

  • Transparent pricing

Costs quoted before any service is performed, never after. We post cash prices online and walk through your insurance coverage upfront.

What to expect

What a visit looks like.

Four steps, no surprises. We've designed every touchpoint to respect your time and tell you what's happening at each stage.

  1. Online booking on a laptop

    Book online

Pick a time from the portal or call the front desk. New patients can usually book within 7–10 days; same-day urgent slots are held back every morning until 11am.

  2. Patient checking in at the front desk

    Check in

Forms are sent the day before via portal so the lobby visit is quick. We verify insurance and walk you through any out-of-pocket cost before you sit down with the doctor.

  3. Doctor and patient during a visit

    Visit with your doctor

A real conversation — vitals, history, exam, plan. Most labs are drawn in the same visit, and we explain what we're testing and why before you leave the room.

  4. Patient reviewing follow-up notes on phone

    Follow-up via portal

Lab results, the after-visit summary, and any prescriptions show up in the portal within 24 hours. Message your doctor directly if anything is unclear — most replies come back the same business day.

Services FAQ

A few common questions about how we work.

  • Do I need a referral to see a specialist?

For most patients on PPO plans, no — you can self-refer. For HMO plans we'll handle the referral in-house, typically same day. We have a vetted list of specialists across SF and the Peninsula and will tell you who we'd send our own family to.

  • What's a wellness exam and what does it include?

An annual head-to-toe physical: vitals, exam, age-appropriate screenings, labs (lipid panel, glucose, etc.), vaccinations if due, and a 45-minute conversation about lifestyle, mental health, and any concerns. Most insurance covers it at $0 once per year.

  • Telehealth or in-person — which should I pick?

Telehealth works well for follow-ups, medication refills, lab review, simple skin issues, and most mental health visits. Anything requiring a hands-on exam, vitals, labs, or a procedure is better in-person. If you're unsure, message us and we'll tell you straight.

  • Are vaccines included in the visit cost?

For insured patients, vaccines on the CDC schedule are typically covered with no out-of-pocket cost during a preventive visit. Travel vaccines and some adult vaccines may have a copay — we'll quote the price before administering anything.

  • Can you handle minor procedures in the clinic?

Yes — skin biopsies, mole removals, joint injections, IUD insertion, suture placement, ear lavage, abscess drainage, and more. Done in-office without a surgery-center referral. We'll quote any cash cost before booking the procedure.
